The World Wars

In the book of Revelation is depicted a graphic description of the grand finale between truth and error. John sees the woman riding the scarlet coloured beast. A woman in Bible prophecy is a church (see Jeremiah 6:2) and a beast in symbolic language typifies a political kingdom (see Dan 7:23). So it is evident that this corrupt church is to dominate the dual power of authority prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ. It would be good if we would give a historical breakdown of the momentous events of the last century. We will also look at how Rome has forged relationships with war like nations.

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:”

In the year 782 Charlemagne, the King of the Franks, became the military champion of the Papacy. Pope Leo III crowned Charlemagne emperor in Notra Dame cathedral in 800 A.D. The future of Europe was bound up in this event, and co-operation with the Vatican and Germany has held ever since. The Reformation was viewed as a setback to this alliance, but the control of central Europe was held together by the agency of the Austro-Hungary Empire. The Habsburg family acted as the paramount protectors of the Roman Catholic Church. At the beginning of the last century a very significant factor came to light, which was to ever shape the future of our modern world. L. H. Lehmann in his book Behind The Dictators, explains it thus “For centuries Vatican policy has based all its hopes for the restoration of its dominion over the nations of Europe upon a strong, militaristic Germany that would cleanse the continent of all British Protestant influence from the west, and above all, safeguard it from Russo-Slavic invasion from the East.”1 Pope Leo XIII actually urged this very plan on Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. The following are the Kaiser’s own words: “It was of interest to me that the Pope said to me on this ... that GERMANY must become the sword of the Catholic Church. I remarked that the old Roman Empire of the German nation no longer existed, and that conditions had changed. But he stuck to his words.”2 The slaughter that took place during the First World War was a result of this far-reaching master plan of Rome. It was a vehicle to implement Catholic hegemony in Europe.

Another instance in this drive to create a super-state can be seen in the rise of national socialism-fascism. During the 1920’s it was believed that the principles of democracy was a destructive element to the Church of Rome. The papacy was convinced that absolute leaders would bring the state in harmony with the church. And it was in this climate that Adolf Hitler was to arise to power. He was swept into office thanks to the Roman Catholic Church. “The Fuhrer had come to power, thanks to the votees of the Catholic Zentrum, ... but most of the objectives cynically revealed in “Mein Kampf” were already realised; this book an insolent challenge to the western democracies, was written by the Jesuit Father Staempfle and signed by Hitler.”3

It is important for the reader to note that the Second World War was stage two of the plan to unify the European continent. Soon after Hitler came to power, Catholic Franz Von Papen, German politician, and Privy Chamberlain to the Pope said “The Third Reich is the first power in the world, not only to recognize, but also to put into practice, the high principles of the Papacy.”4 That high principle being the Inquisition, or simply put, the destruction of anyone or group that steps out of line with the church-state / empire. Thanks to the providence of a Sovereign and all powerful God this attempt was foiled, but at a great cost and loss of human life.

The Vatican Grand Master Plan is to erect a Roman Catholic super-state in the industrial heart of Europe. It will be patterned on the old medieval model that existed before the Protestant Reformation, where the state was in partnership with the church, and all facet’s of life were regulated according to church policy. A few years ago, when we first heard of this Papal ambition to control the world, we were astonished that a religious institution could have such aims. But two thousand years ago on the Isles of Patmos, the apostle John was shown the final scenes of international history.
