The Beginnings

We printed our first tract in 1993, and called it “Is Sunday The Lord’s Day or The Mark of the Beast?” 25,000 of these tracts were printed, and a great number of souls were led to accept the Bible Sabbath.

The two best-selling books, by far, for the ministry at this time were “The Great Controversy” and “The Illuminati 666”. Boxes of books were distributed and sold to all cross-sections of London’s society - from Christian to Muslim, Atheist to Believer.

Many from there gave their hearts to the Lord, and eventually became Seventh-day Adventists.

The young men gifted with skills in preaching were called to present a series of evangelistic campaigns in several countries. They were initially held in London, England; and St. Lucia, Jamaica, Barbados, and Grenada in the West Indies.

From here individuals moved to different fields, where they believed that they were called by God to be more effective workers for the Gospel: one went to study Pastoral Evangelism at Hartland. One went to live in Grenada in the West Indies, and carries out annual evangelistic campaigns. One started a Health Ministry in London. Two took positions as Head Deacons in their local churches and concentrated their main efforts there. One became an Evangelist for Jamaican campaigns.

How The Ministry Began To Grow

The year 1996 started a new era for Voice in the Wilderness. It was the year that the first newsletter was produced, and marked the birth of our printing work - Wilderness Publications was born.

The newsletter was entitled “The Vatican In World Affairs”. It was revised a year later in illustrated form and continues to be a reference work for us today.

Another newsletter entitled “The Gunpowder Plot” has been blessed mightily. It has awakened many souls to the true nature of religious liberty.

Covering a sweep through Protestant history from the 13th to the 20th century, it includes studies on the Act of Union, a history of the early English Reformers, the translation of the King James Bible, the history of the Jesuits and the Secret Service, and finally, the European Union as a prototype of the New World Order - all concluded in a Biblical setting. The publishing work and the teaching work go hand in hand. As the publications were being distributed across different continents, and the work bore witness of divine blessing, we were being called to do more meetings in Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) churches, and to support the brethren with their campaigns.

New fields were opened up in Norway and the West Indies, and working hand in hand with laymen and women in London, meetings were held to see how the people of God could work more closely together for the furtherance of the Third Angel’s Message.

As our experience broadened, we realised, and still realise, the need for individual consecration in the work. Personal talent proved not to be enough through the trials and very real problems faced in the field. Only the love and power of Christ though the Holy Spirit could help us to do all things faithfully. Sin has no place in God’s ministry.

The Growth of the Publication Work

The power of God working through the publishing work increased over the years, and after printing our first newsletter, and Wilderness Publications was born, the Lord took us forward on to new adventures.

In 1998, we printed our first professionally bound book,
“A History of The Gunpowder Plot”. Then in 1999 we produced our first professional title from cover to cover, “The Naked Truth About Cults and Erroneous Teachings” by brother Sam Henry.

Here God increased our skills in the trade of printing & publishing, specifically in the areas of:

•  Professional Typesetting
•  Graphic Design
•  Market Research
•  Book Sales Through Established Retail Outlets

The Adventist Pioneer Reprint Series

After acquiring a CD-ROM with the writings of the Adventist Pioneers, we studied their works, and reading the counsels of the Spirit of Prophecy, the Lord inspired us with the idea of reprinting their books.

Since the year 2000 we have reprinted:
•
The Two-Horned Beast Of Revelation 13, A Symbol Of The United States
    - by J. N. Loughborough
•  The Commandment To Restore And To Build Jerusalem
    - by J. N. Andrews
•  Behind The Dictators - by Leo A. Lehman
•  Rome’s Responsibility For The Assassination Of Abraham Lincoln
    - by Brigadier General Thomas M. Harris
•  A Solemn Appeal - edited by James White
•  The Judgment Its Events And Their Order - by J. N. Andrews
•  The Fall Of Babylon In Type And Antitype - by Louis F. Were

We have typeset and printed many other materials. Our problem has always been the challenge to meet the demands from our customer orders.

At present we are making a
SPECIAL PRINTER APPEAL. We need financial help to produce our material. Click here for more details and to watch the video.
