by Dr. Leo Lehman, an ex-Catholic priest, in 1942, we know of no other

the most important historical books ever to be written in America, for it proves
that the Jesuits of Rome (the Catholic Church) were responsible for the
assassination and death of the American President Abraham Lincoln. The author
makes it plainly known. This is a fact that is almost completely hidden from the
world today. It was the beginning of an attempt by the Papacy to gain complete
control of the United States of America, and also through the same event, to
subjugate Protestantism and destroy civil and religious liberty within its
shores. General Thomas M. Harris was on the Military Commission that
tried the assassins. He wrote this book to reveal the evil purposes that the
Catholic Hierarchy have towards the American system of government, and to make
known the extent that they are willing to go to in order to secure its removal,
and the principles that it was set up to secure. An extremely rare

on the prophecy of the King of the North as mentioned in the book of Daniel
chapter 11. Written by Louis Were, the author reveals how this prophecy
gives a message of victory for God’s remnant church. It shows how the activities
of the King of the North are seen as the same as those of the beast in the
Revelation, and includes studies on the Glorious Holy Mountain, Paul’s
application of the prophecy of the King of the North to the Papacy, Why Jesus is
given the Second Advent Title, “The King of Kings and Lord of Lords”, when the
King of the North enters the Glorious Land, where the Glorious Land is,
why the Lord directs us to a specific place in Daniel 11:45, and when the King
of the North comes to his end.

A study
on the book of Ezra by Adventist pioneer J. N. Andrews. First written in
1865, it is a wonderfully solid and informative read. It proves without a doubt
that the starting date of the 2,300 year prophecy of Daniel 8:14 was in the year
457 BC. This book weighs up the arguments for and against this year, and
authoritative historical evidence is used to substantiate this date. The reader
is systematically taken through the scriptures and shown very clearly that the
three decrees of Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes as a whole make up the Commandment
to Restore and to Build Jerusalem.

OF BABYLON IN TYPE AND ANTITYPE
A
powerful book written by Louis Were in 1952. He reveals why it is
important for God’s people to understand the prophecies concerning the overthrow
of Babylon-whether in the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, or the Revelation. In these
pages are revealed the reasons why the Lord urges His people in the book of
Revelation to give earnest study to the prophecies concerning the overthrow of
ancient Babylon. It is necessary for God’s people to understand the typical
character of those prophecies, in order to see that, while they outlined in
great detail the overthrow and subsequent destruction which befell ancient
Babylon, they also foretold the overthrow of the whole Babylonian world at the
end of time. The writer did not know of any book that showed the significance of
these prophecies in the plan and purpose of God in relation to the third angel’s
Message, and he was convicted that a book presenting these facts should be
written for the people of God.

thoughtfulness, and prayerful study that our Adventist pioneers were renowned
for. The main subject matter includes The Investigative Judgment, Examination of
the Books, God the Father the Judge, Offices of Christ, The Sanctuary in Heaven, The
Executive Judgment, and The Saints Sitting in Judgment. Starting with the
question of the Investigative Judgment proper, Elder Andrews takes us through
the scriptures, and allows them to reveal, step by step, the different stages of
the judgment.
